Biographical / Historical

Carrie E. (and perhaps Carrie J. as well) Aiken, appears to have lived in Jamestown, NY. Both Carrie E. as well as Carrie J. seem to have been schoolteachers. Carrie E. and Carrie J. Aiken were perhaps sisters, as a number of letters are addressed "Dear Girls" and "Dear Sisters." Carrie J. Aiken died in 1923.
