Lawrance Thompson manuscripts
Lawrance Thompson’s collection consists of three Hollinger boxes containing drafts of The Years of Triumph (1970). Included are drafts with corrections by Thompson and his designer P. J. Conkwright, as well as end notes with corrections by Thompson and his editor.

Margaret MacArthur collection
Five boxes, one containing an LP album, four containing reel-to-reel tapes, primarily recorded by MacArthur between 1948-1965. Tapes contain performances by various folk singers as well as lectures by Helen Hartness Flanders.

Middlebury Alumni Veterans Collection
Created in 2019 and in collaboration with Middlebury Veterans Give Back (MVGB), the Middlebury Alumni Veterans Collection (C-174) will reflect the military experience of veterans through papers, memoirs, photographs, ephemera, realia and media, including films, slides and interviews.
To date, the contents of the collection have been donated by members of Middlebury Veterans Give Back (MVGB) and Middlebury veterans encouraged by MVGB.

Film cameras, magic lanterns, and stereoscopes collected by Middlebury Special Collections for classroom use. Cameras include Kodak Folding Cartridge Premo, Kodak No. 2 Brownie, Kodak Target Brownie 620, Brownie movie camera, Kodak Startech camera, Argus 75, Bell & Howell Zoomatic, Polaroid automatic 250 land camera, Olympus 35 RC, and Hanimex Praktica Super TL. The collection also includes a magic lantern, stereoscopes, and a View-Master.

Middlebury oral histories
Collection includes oral history interviews conducted under the auspices of Special Collections. Interviewees include Middlebury College students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators. As of 2020, the vast majority of the interviews are one-on-one, and more group recording sessions are being conducted and added.

Millicent Fairhurst Middlebury Women, 1959- collection
Includes two copies of the 1999 first printing of Middlebury Women, 1959- by Millicent Fairhurst, 1999 galley proof of Middlebury Women, 1959-, and correspondence and questionnaire responses sent by Fairhurst to her female classmates.
Note that a number of survey responses in the collection were received after the first printing and were subsequently included in a second printing.
Miscellaneous manuscripts collection
The Miscellaneous Manuscript Collection at Middlebury College Library contains single, unbound manuscripts and small groups of manuscripts acquired for the Library's Special Collections. The material include chiefly individual and small groups of letters, as well as diaries and journals, records and account books, and sermons and speeches. Many items in this collection were primarily collected and/or purchased because they were thought to be relevant to curriculum.
