Scope and Contents This collection contains original typescript and photocopies of some of Gluck's poetry, as well as correspondence between Gluck and the fiction editors of "Mademoiselle Magazine," Madeline Tracy Brigden and Ellen Stoianoff, as Gluck negotiates her first book and emerges as a poet. The collection is arranged into two series: Manuscripts and Correspondence. Collection contains 1 box and 23 folders.
Scope and Contents The correspondence in this collection between Buckeye and various authors was typically started by Buckeye when he invited them to speak at the Middlebury College library as a part of the speaker series he implemented during his time at the College. In a number of cases, communication developed into friendly correspondence.
