Biographical / Historical
The Middlebury oral history interview initiative began with Special Collections curator Bob Buckeye (1971-2003). Buckeye established the College Archives in 1973 and created a record group for historically focused studies and initiatives - written, photographic, audio and audio/visual - entitled Historical Studies of Middlebury College and designated as A13. As of 2017-19, recorded oral histories were officially identified as a separate entity, Middlebury Oral Histories (MOH) and are now designated as collection C-181.
