Biographical / Historical
Burt Alden Hazeltine was a professor of Math at Middlebury College from 1924 to 1956 and Dean of Men from 1926 to 1939. Upon his retirement in 1956, Hazeltine became a Professor Emeritus. The Hazeltine-Klevenow Memorial Trophy, named for Professor Hazeltine and Coach Klevenow, has been awarded annually since 1928 to students who display both athletic and scholastic excellence.

The Burt A. Hazeltine Collection was acquired as a donation in 2004 from Burt Hazeltine's great-neice Kathryn Grover.
