Biographical / Historical
Addison Irving Bacheller (1859-1950) was an American journalist. Bacheller founded the first modern newspaper syndicate in the United States. The Bacheller Syndicate introduced the writings of British authors such as Joseph Conrad, Arthur Conan Doyle, and Rudyard Kipling to American audiences. Bacheller was also a novelist.
