Biographical / Historical

Henry Brooks Adams (1838-1918) was an American historian and member of the Adams political family, and son of Charles Francis Adams. He was best known during his life for his History of the United States During the Administrations of Thomas Jefferson and James madison. His memoirs, The Education of Henry Adams, published after his death, won the Pulitzer Prize.
