"Although a later publication, the mission of The Middlebury College News Letter (1926-1983), first published by the College in 1926, was to inform the ever-growing Middlebury community not only about pertinent contemporary issues of interest regarding the College, but to highlight Middlebury's shared historical heritage. Many of the articles contained in its pages serve as placeholders to Middlebury College history. Since the early 1980's, The Middlebury College News Letter's tradition has been continued by Middlebury Magazine."
