Biographical / Historical
The Twilight Diary Project seeks to tell the stories of diverse communities who have been excluded from history, including racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, immigrants, LGBTQ+, low-income, or those with documentable learning or other forms of disabilities. Students, faculty, and staff who identified with one or more of these groups were invited to apply to participate in the Twilight COVID-19 Diary Project. Participants were asked to document their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic in a diary which they agreed to deposit in Special Collections. Participants could elect to keep either and electronic or a manuscript (print) diary. Student participants were compensated for their work upon receipt of their diary.
