Scope and Contents

This scrapbook documents the middle portion of Walker's first year at Middlebury College. It contains an extensive collection of ephemera including newspaper clippings, programs from plays, church services, musical performances, films, and sporting events, napkins, valentines, memorabilia from the 1952 Winter Carnival, and greek letter society rush materials. The scrapbook also contains documents pertaining to the tenth annual Middlebury Conference, and a complete and intact copy of the Middlebury Campus from February 21, 1952. A majority of the scrabook's contents are accompanied by handwritten notes and/or brief journal entries.
