Action plan for anti-racism, diversity, equity, and inclusion, September 8, 2020

 Item
Identifier: A14_DEI_Action_Plan_for_Anti-Racism_20200908

Scope and Contents

The Action Plan for Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion will engage the entire Middlebury community in fostering access, equity, inclusion, and full participation in the life of the institution for students, staff, faculty, and alumni. The plan identifies and will eliminate barriers to access, equity, and inclusion, including racism, ableism, heterosexism, cissexism, classism, sexism, and all forms of othering. The plan is a living document which invites engagement: some projects are already under way, while others will commence this semester and beyond. We expect the plan to evolve and be modified with initiatives from other campus constituencies and based on feedback.
