Carbon typsescript of one of Anderson's earlier works, first published with other poems under the general title of "Mid-American Songs" in the September 1917 issue of Poetry magazine. The following year it was incorporated in his "Mid-American Chants." Features holograph corrections, signature, and final line of text in Anderson's hand.
