Collection includes files associated with Middlebury's scientific instruments as well as the instruments themselves. The instruments were those used in the fields of astronomy; electricity and magnetism; motors; balances; mechanics; optics; pneumatics; electrochemistry; and electrostatics. The collection also includes instruments that were collected and used by Middlebury College Professor Frederick Hall.

Scope and Contents

Two recordings, from VHS originals, submitted to Professor Frank Winkler's Physics 101 class, likely in the spring semester 1990. “It’s a Relative World to Me,” written and performed by Greg Naughton ’90, Jon Rothstein, ’93, and Josh Miller ‘93. Also "The Physics of Dance," written and performed by Aimee Young, ’93. Also included is a digital copy of the annotated lyrics, originally printed on a dot matrix printer, for “It’s a Relative World to Me."
