Scope and Contents
Includes typescript signed copy of Markham's poem, "Lincoln, The Man of the People," read by Markham at the dedication of the Lincoln Memorial at Washington, D.C., May 30, 1922. Also includes sample bookplate for a printing of the poem etched by Bernhardt Wall, and a letter by from Wall to "Mrs. Landauer" regarding acquiring a copy of the poem.

Abstract
The Parker Family Collection includes manuscript letters, photograph albums, papers and ephemera, scrapbooks and realia. Notably, the collections provides 43 Civil War letters written by Calvin Joseph Parker to his mother and sisters. C.J. Parker served in the 123rd Regiment of New York Volunteers in the Union Army and the letters range in date from January 1862 to April 1865.
