One holograph letter written by Sophia Eastman to Mehitable Eastman, dated West Roxbury, Massachusetts, July 25, 1843. In the letter, Eastman discusses her journey to Brook Farm and describes life at the Farm after her arrival.
Letter was published in part in Sams, Henry W. Autobiography of Brook Farm (Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, Prentice-Hall, 1958).
