One holograph letter written by Margaret Fuller to Elizabeth Barrett Browning, dated December 6, 1849. The letter discusses Browning's infant son, as well as Fuller's feeling "as if a curtain fell down between [helself and Browning]." Fuller also discusses Edgar Allan Poe, writing, "I think he really had no friends. I did not know him, though, I saw and talked with him often, but he always seemed to me shrouded in an assumed character."
